You have a 50 million budget to buy 7 countries of which you think are going to win the most points in EuroBasket 2017.

EuroBasket 2017 starts with a group phase where 24 countries are divided over 4 groups of 6 countries. In this group they will play every country one time (5 matches in total). In the group phase the teams can win points in every match. They get 2 points per win and 0 points when they lose. When a game get's into OT (overtime), the loosing team will still get 1 point.

After the group phase the best 4 countries will go to the so called knockout phase. For reaching the knockout phase (round 2) every country gets 3 points. See the points table for more details.

An example: Spain wins 5 group matches in round 1. In this case Spain will score 10 points for your team (5 x 2 points). Because they also reached the knockout phase Spain gets another 3 points. For reaching the quarter final Spain will get 3 points, for reaching the semi final they will get another 5 points. When Spain loses the semi-final they earned 21 points in total (10 points in the group phase and 11 points (3, 3 and 5) in the knockouts).
